Zena was our first rescue together (her “dumb” but lovable brother, Taco, joined six months later). A couple of weeks after bringing her home, we spotted a Dog Birthday Kit at a store checkout and knew we had to buy it! But then it hit us—we had no idea when her birthday was.
Unless you rescue them as a puppy, you don’t get a birthday to celebrate. That didn’t sit right with me. Something had to be done!
Inspired by Zena, Rescue Dog Birthday Generator was born—so every rescue pup can have a special day of their own. Zena is still with us, living her best life, but this will always be her legacy.
